Baaris Levist Väljas (Olevimägi 12) astub teisipäeval, 1. juunil kell 22.00 ülesse Rootsi bänd Nervous Nellie

Bänd satub Levikasse oma Ida-Euroopa tuuri raames, mis kulgeb muuhulgas läbi ka näiteks Minskist ja Valgast.

Nervous Nellie puhul on tegu bändiga, keda sobiks stiiliselt võrrelda Neil Youngi, Lemonheadsi ja näiteks sellise Ameerika maanteede indie coolgangiga nagu Railroad Jerk. Et asjast paremini aimu saada, lisan siia ka Nervous Nellie biograafia:

Nervous Nellie is a new Swedish band that has its base in Stockholm. The music they play is a natural reaction to the music the band grew up with. Refrences can clearly be made to lo-fi, indie bands like Dinosaur Jr, Nirvana, The Pixies, Sonic Youth and Neil Young.

After playing in Taubertal festival in Germany together with Cardigans, Evan Dando, they were invited to this years Warped tour in USA. After that successful apperance they returned for a showcase tour in Germany where they made gigs in Berlin, Frankfurt and Köln.

In the beginning of April they toured the baltic states and the response in radio and among the audience was so great that they decided to return quickly to the region and make with this tour.

Nervous Nellie has been around for a little over 2 years but it was first during 2003 that they made themsleves known to the public through club and festival appearances in and outside of Sweden.

The title track "Peace Pipe" (from their EP "The Peace Pipe EP") is currently being played on both commericial (ex. Rock Klassiker 106,7 fm) and college radio (ex. Rocket 95,3 fm) in Sweden.

A video has also been made and will shortly be broadcast on MTV and ZTV in Scandinavia etc. A commericial release of "The Peace Pipe EP" is set for may 2004. In late july the band will also be touring in the USA on the VANs Warped tour together with Bad Religion and International Noise Conspiracy.
